What People Are Saying About Spanish at Miss Kim’s
My kids came home crazy excited to tell me all about their crafts and newly learned Spanish words. Logan was really upset on his last day of camp- until I told him that he gets to see Señora Mejia again in an 8 week course! From a parent standpoint, I understand very little Spanish. I believe that nowadays, however, knowing both Spanish and English is important for the rising generations. Not every school around here does the Spanish immersion program, so we homeschool in an attempt to fill in some of those gaps. I don’t know everything, though, so I reach out to local teachers and courses to help me teach my kids. Señora Mejia is giving my kids the opportunity to learn Spanish and grow in ways that their public school and I could not give them, and for that I am incredibly grateful for her! I hope that she doesn’t give up on them, or even considers private Spanish tutoring if her classes don’t always get filled! We love all that you are doing with your business Miss Kim! Thank you! ~S Patterson
My son gained so much confidence the week he spent at dino camp with Sra Mejía. He came home every day excited about what he had learned and created and continueS to talk about his experience. I feel so much better about him heading to kindergarten now. ~A Post
My daughter is a rising Kindergartner who will be starting a Spanish Immersion program this fall. Before attending Spanish camp with Senora Mejia, she was apprehensive about trying a new language and thought it would be “too hard.” After day two of camp, my daughter asked to pull out all our books in Spanish and was excited to practice counting. Senora Mejia created an environment that was fun and safe to learn and explore something new. We can’t thank Senora Mejia enough! ~J Johnson
